Halkalı Station Square is Opening

Construction of Halkalı Station Square, whose design we completed in Istanbul’s Halkalı district, has officially begun. Designed to accommodate a daily passenger capacity of 150,000–200,000, this transfer square will function as a strategic transportation hub at the intersection of the Metro, Marmaray, and High-Speed Train (YHT) lines.
Our design strategy centers on a pedestrian circulation network that distributes high density from the core into three zones, enabling seamless transitions between different uses. While each zone serves distinct transportation modes, the area is experienced as a unified whole. A significant portion of the project is allocated to meeting extensive parking requirements. The space is enriched with urban furniture, iconic canopies, and social areas, offering more than just a transfer point.
The design process began in January 2025 and was completed in June 2025. Construction is ongoing, with completion scheduled for June 2026 and inauguration planned for 19 June 2026, with a ceremony expected to be attended by the President of the Republic.
