Based in Ankara, MDesign is a design firm serving both nationally and internationally, creating ecological, sustainable, and contemporary living spaces. Spanning a broad range of projects from private residential developments to large-scale urban initiatives, we transform the relationship between nature and people into aesthetic and functional spatial solutions.

MDesign’s founding partner and lead designer, Murat Z. Memlük (PhD), guides the firm’s design vision and leads the design team with over 30 years of academic and professional experience in the field. Working with interdisciplinary expert consultants, the MDesign team demonstrates a robust design practice that addresses complex urban and environmental challenges through a holistic, modern, and sustainable perspective.

For MDesign, design is more than just an aesthetic outcome; it is a well-defined, carefully structured, data-driven, and meticulously managed process. Every project begins with a multifaceted DNA analysis of the site’s ecological, physical, and socio-cultural data. Evaluated in line with user needs and client objectives, this data transforms into site-specific scenarios and robust conceptual frameworks. During the design process, this framework is expanded through empathy, dialogue, and collective intelligence, evolving into unique spatial solutions.

MDesign manages the entire process—from concept development to technical implementation projects—in a transparent and verifiable manner, with close coordination between architectural and engineering disciplines. Structural and landscape design projects, along with lighting and irrigation concepts and technical documentation, are organized into a comprehensive, implementation-ready project package. Consulting and supervision services provided during the implementation phase ensure that the design is faithfully executed on-site.

Since 2017, MDesign has consistently produced projects in numerous countries, particularly in Uzbekistan—with a focus on Tashkent—delivering dozens of designs ranging from private residential gardens to large-scale public spaces like city parks, university campuses, renovation sites, commercial and cultural buildings, and mixed-use projects. Through this work, the firm has played an active role in shaping the country’s contemporary landscape vision. This intensive production process spanning nearly a decade has solidified MDesign’s ability to successfully manage and execute large-scale projects across diverse climatic, cultural, and administrative contexts on an international scale.
